This website uses first-party aggregate counters to understand how often people visit. This notice describes website measurement and contact links; clinical privacy and informed consent are discussed separately when arranging care.
What is counted
Daily totals of visits and page views, plus broad referral categories: Google, Psychology Today, direct or unattributed, and other websites. Dates use the local time in Powell River. The counters do not store names, email addresses, IP addresses, visitor identifiers, full referral URLs, search terms, or individual browsing histories. No advertising trackers are used.
How a visit is estimated
Your browser temporarily stores the time of its last counted page load in session storage. A new tab or a page load after more than 30 minutes without a counted page load starts another visit. This is not a count of unique people. No analytics cookies are set. This storage is normally cleared when the tab is closed.
Browsers that signal Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded from these counters, as are recognised automated user agents. Blocking scripts or session storage can prevent measurement. Hosting infrastructure may separately process technical request information to deliver and secure the website.
